After Saturday’s postponement at Wealdstone, Bromley look to get back into National League action on Tuesday night when they travel to East London to face Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road.
The Daggers also lost their fixture to the weather at the weekend, but they currently sit eighteenth in the table with 23 points from 20 league games played, only winning one of their last five matches under manager Daryl McMahon.
Last time out Dagenham & Redbridge were defeated 3-1 away at Notts County, Matt Robinson scoring their only goal.
The Daggers’ last win came in a 3-2 victory at home to Kings Lynn Town in January.
After last Tuesday night’s 2-0 win at home to Kings Lynn, Neil Smith’s Bromley side moved up to eleventh in the table with 29 points from 19 league matches played, striker Courtney Duffus scoring twice to open his account for his new side after joining from Yeovil in January.
The Republic of Ireland Under 21 International is now fit after a spell with injury and looking sharp. Smith made several changes to his starting line up ahead of the game with Jack Holland, Billy Bingham and Liam Trotter coming into the side, while Tom Purrington made his full debut and Academy player Liam Vincent coming on as sub.
Smith was delighted with his teams response, keeping a clean sheet and playing some good attacking football.
Defender Chris Bush will be available for Bromley after suspension, but Luke Coulson and Harry Forster remain injured, although Smith was optimistic about their return being not too far away.
When the sides met at the same venue last season, Reeco Hackett-Fairchild scored a dramatic late equaliser for The Ravens to secure a 1-1 draw, the first point Bromley had picked up away at Dagenham in four National League meetings.
Although the teams are separated by seven places in the table, there is only a six points gap between them in what is proving to be a very congested and tight competition to squeeze into the top seven play off places.
The match is being played behind closed doors as per Covid restrictions, but supporters can purchase the live stream from the official Daggers website for £9.99.
