Crystal Palace are weighing up a move for Gillingham midfielder Bradley Dack but will face competition from Bristol City.
The 22-year-old was a revelation last season when winning League One player of the year as Gillingham just missed out on the play-offs, and his form did not go unnoticed at Selhurst Park.
Eagles boss Alan Pardew has been tracking his performances for some time and reports suggest he could be close to making a bid for the attacking midfielder.
Gillingham have admitted they will be powerless to keep hold if a big offer comes in and there is expected to be plenty of interest in the youngster over the summer.
Bristol City are known to be very keen having made several bids for the talented attacking midfielder in the January transfer window and they will hope the chance of guaranteed football in the Championship will win the day for them as Palace see Dack as one for the future.
Scottish Premier League winners Celtic are believed to be another club having monitored Dack’s progress in recent months with a fee in excess of £2 million expected to be Gillingham’s asking price.
Meanwhile, Gillingham are hopeful of signing both Stuart Nelson and Josh Wright once again, but the pair are attracting interest from a number of clubs.
