Mark Cundy, an accountant by day, is about to swap his daily analysis of spreadsheets for an analysis of race data.
Cundy has become the latest racing driver to join the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club, the 55-year-old from Faversham, Kent is Group Director at Mann Made Group and plans to use his motorsport debut as part of the high-profile British GT support series as a tool to promote the business he works for.
He said; “I had heard of Ginetta through their British Touring Car Championship support series, and when I heard about the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club and the fact that it was for novice racers, in a single make, safe and road legal car, I thought it was the ideal channel in which to promote the services that Mann Made Group offer.”
With the championship aim of finishing all eight races, Mark hopes to be on the pace from the first meeting thanks to the track days with tuition. Ginetta offer all Ginetta Racing Drivers Club members. He will then take his ARDS test in order to obtain his National B race licence.
