Cray Wanderers are back in Isthmian League Premier Division action on Saturday afternoon when they play their penultimate home game, taking on Wingate & Finchley at Flamingo Park.

The Wands go into the game on the back of an impressive 2-0 away win at Billericay Town last weekend, Soul Kader & Nyren Clunis on target for Tim O’Shea’s side. The win leaving Cray in tenth place with 57 points from 38 league matches.
Since stepping up and taking over as interim manager from Neil Smith last month, O’Shea has won two games and lost just once. Keeping the ethos and style of the side the same and he will be looking to make a good finish to the season with only four games left.
WIngate & Finchley make the trip over from North West London, sitting one place and one point behind The Wands, having also played 38 games. Last Saturday, Ahmet Rifat’s side drew 0-0 away at Lewes.
When the teams met at the Maurice Rebak Stadium in January, The Blues won 1-0 courtesy of a late goal from Ben Watt and in last season’s meeting at Hayes Lane, Cray won 1-0 thanks to an early Gary Lockyer goal.
This match looks set to be equally as close between two teams with similar records, playing with no pressure and looking to end their campaigns on a positive note.
Tickets for the game are £12 for adults and £6 for concessions. There is an excellent printed programme for £3. Kick off is at 3 pm.
