Cray Wanderers are back in Isthmian League Premier Division action on tonight when they take on Wingate & Finchley at Hayes Lane looking to turn their recent dip on form around and move away from the bottom four.
The Wands lost their sixth consecutive match on Saturday when they went down 2-0 at home to Brightlingsea Regent, who had a man sent off in the seventh minute of the game.
Manager Danny Kedwell fielded three debutants for the game with loanees Quaine Bartley and Kasim Aidoo, plus young midfielder Freddie Barton all making their first starts for Cray and it is still very much a work in progress as he looks to build a squad of players from scratch that compete at this level.
Wingate & Finchley travel across from West London sitting in fifteenth with 8 points from 7 games, two places above The Wands who have 6 points from 7 matches.
On Saturday Wingate picked up an impressive point at Bognor Regis Town drawing 2-2, having lead 2-0 and only conceding the equaliser in the last minute, their third match in a row unbeaten.
This will be another tough test for The Wands as they look to get their campaign back on track ahead of a difficult run of away fixtures.
Entrance of a £10 adults and £5 for concessions, plus the excellent printed programme for £2.
