Cray are back in Ryman League Division One South action at Hayes Lane on Wednesday night when they entertain Hythe Town in a Kent Derby.
The Wands go into the game having beaten Three Bridges 3-2 on Saturday in a game they should have won more comfortably, with Danny Haynes hitting a hat-trick.
Hythe suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Walton Casuals in the FA Cup, conceding three goals in the last three minutes.
Both sides sit just under the play off spots and will be looking for a win to keep them in touch with the early leaders.
Tony Russell’s side were boosted by the return of Keeper Nicky Blue at the weekend, but are still missing the experienced Grant Basey in defence.
The two sides were regular opponents back in their Kent League days and this one will be as keenly contested as those games were.
