Cray Wanderers host Thamesmead Town in the Ryman League Division One North at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night hoping to build on Saturday’s 3-0 win over Heybridge Swifts, their first league win since September.

Tommy Warrilow’s new look side now have twenty points from thirty games, but will have to embark on quite a run to escape relegation for the second season running.

There were plenty of signs for encouragement in the last Wands performance including a much needed clean sheet and some added quality in midfield with the arrival of Orlando Smith alongside Chris Piper.

Thamesmead, who came down with Cray last season, arrive in Bromley sitting mid table with thirty nine points from thirty two games and on the back of a 2-0 home win over Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday.

The Greens are currently without a manager after Keith McMahon’s departure a week ago, but caretakers Grant Spelling & Peter Deadman have kept things going on an even keel.

These two sides have met many times in their Kent league days and with the added  spice of a local derby this should be a close well contested match under the lights at The Lane.
