Cray Wanderers are back in Isthmian League Premier Division action again on Wednesday night when they entertain Hastings Utd at Hayes Lane.
The Wands are currently unbeaten in six league matches having drawn 3-3 at home to Bowers & Pitsea on Sunday, coming back from 3-1 down with goals from Dan Bassett, Anthony Cook & Billy Crook.
The point left Neil Smith’s side in fourth place with twelve points from seven league games.
Hastings Utd are currently fourteenth with eight points from six matches, they were without a game on Saturday, but last Tuesday United beat Kingstonian 1-0 in front of 786 fans at Pilot Field, Joe Gbode with the vital goal from the penalty spot for Gary Elphick’s side.
Hastings won promotion from Division One South East last season as champions and have made a solid start to life back in Step 3, unbeaten in their last three league games.
The game looks set to be a close entertaining encounter between two in form teams looking to continue their good league runs.
Kick Off is at 7:45pm, entry for the game is £12 for adults and £6 for concessions, with an excellent printed programme at £2.
