Following the departure of manager Neil Smith to Crawley Town on Thursday night, Cray Wanderers are in Isthmian League Premier Division action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Bowers & Pitsea at Flamingo Park.

Smith took up the offer of the Assistant Manager’s job at League One Crawley Town, with Tim O’Shea taking over the Cray team for the Bowers & Pitsea match.
The Wands go into the game having lost 2-1 at Carshalton Athletic last weekend, Victor Damyanov with an equalising goal for Neil Smith’s then side, before they conceded a second late on. The result left Cray Wands in eleventh place with 51 points from 35 league games played. Bromley loanee striker Soul Kader missed the game at Colston Avenue due to injury, having scored six goals in his previous five starts.
Bowers & Pitsea make the journey across from Essex sitting bottom in 22nd place with 19 points from 35 matches, 19 points off safety. Last weekend The Bowers lost 1-0 at home to Horsham, their eighth consecutive defeat in what has been a tough season for The Red & Whites. Joint managers Joe Flowers and Luke Wilson took over the team in January, but wins have proved to be illusive so far.
When the sides met in the reverse fixture back in December, Cray Wands won 1-0 courtesy of a Frankie Raymond goal 11minutes from time after Bowers had seen Lewis Chambers sent off earlier in the half.
With Cray Wands looking to make a positive start to life in the Post Smudger Era and Bowers & Pitsea in desperate need of points this should be an entertaining game. Crystal Palace and Millwall season ticket holders can get 25% off tickets purchased on-line.
Entrance for the game is £12 for adults and £6 for concessions, with an excellent printed programme at £3 & Golden Goal tickets £1.
Kick off is 3pm.
