After Valley striker Marcel Barrington hit the foot of Billy Collings’ post in the seventeenth minute, Heath took the lead shortly before half time.
A loose ball bounced around the home six yard box before Sam Remfrey’s scuffed shot found the back of the Valley net.
There was still time for Barrington to again strike the post in first half stoppage time as he turned and shot from the edge of the 18 yard box.
