Kent Cricket have announced that batsman Zak Crawley has signed an extension to his Kent contract until the end of the 2025 season.
The England opener, a product of the Kent Cricket Academy, has made 147 appearances for his home county to-date after making his debut back in 2017, scoring over 6,000 runs across all formats.
The latest of his 10 Kent centuries so far was a huge score of 238 in the Vitality County Championship against Somerset in May.
He will be available for Kent around his international commitments throughout next Summer.
On signing his contract extension, Crawley said: “I absolutely love playing for my county and it was another easy decision to stay here for a further year.
“I’m looking forward to being available for Kent as much as I can next year and putting in performances wearing the White Horse in multiple formats.”
Kent’s Director of Cricket, Simon Cook, said: “When he’s available, Zak elevates our top-order batting and he is of course a great role model for our young batters despite himself only being 26.
“I’m delighted that Zak has extended his Kent contract for a further year as we begin to plan for the 2025 season and beyond.”
