Conway and his Toyota teammates head to Spa-Francorchamps after their successful start to the season at their home round at Silverstone last month.

That opening weekend of  the season at Silverstone resulted in Conway and his team mates taking a well deserved podium place after a dramatic race, which also saw Mike awarded the prestigious Richard Lloyd Trophy, presented to the highest placed member of the British Racing Drivers’ Club.6 Hours of Silverstone Pitlane 2016© 2016 Musson/PSP. Conway will share the Number six car with team mates Stephane Sarrazin and Kamui Kobayashi. Hopes are high that they will better the second place result gained at Silverstone as the team gain a better understanding of the car and its 2.4 litre turbocharged engine and 8MJ battery-based hybrid system. The team expects to show improved performance at Spa, the final race before the Le Mans 24 Hours in June.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Conway said: “Spa is another track I know well from Formula 1 and GP2, so I am looking forward to driving the TS050 Hybrid there. I enjoyed my first race in LMP1 and learnt a lot about how to manage the traffic; I am sure this experience will already help me at Spa.”
