He will wear number 88 for the Mos next season after the former Guildford junior penned a deal to join the Dynamos following his debut year in the NIHL South Division 1 with the London Raiders last term.

Joshua Condren rose through the ranks in Surrey with Guildford and tasted success early with the under 18s in 2011/12 whilst playing up an age group as the Phoenix surged to the championship in the south’s top tier.

He would remain with Guildford for a further season, finishing runners-up this time around, before switching to Slough for 2013/14 where he would ply his trade across three levels.

Icing in Berkshire, Condren predominantly featured for both the under 18s, where he managed 17 goals and 12 assists for 29 points in just 14 games, and the NIHL Jets of the NIHL South Division 2 where he added another 20 points by finding the net 13 times and playing a role in 7 more during 19 outings.

His excellent return drew the attention of the EPL side and he dressed 4 times for the most senior Jets before a move to the London Raiders followed for 2014/15.

Now at Lee Valley for his first full year in the NIHL South Division 1, Condren played 37 games in the Raiders’ gold and blue and found the target in the playoffs before London’s tournament exit at the hands of the Wightlink Raiders in the semi-finals.

In 2015/16 he will be hoping to further develop his game and enjoy more success as he pens a deal in Gillingham to become part of a new look Invicta Dynamos side.

Speaking on the capture of Joshua Condren, Head Coach Kevin Parrish said, “Josh’s hard work at both ends of the ice caught my eye whilst he was with London last season so I’m pleased he has agreed to join us at the Mos.”

“He’s another young player with great potential and so he fits in with what we are trying to build at the club this off season. I know he is raring to grasp this opportunity with both hands and I’m sure he will play his part as we compete on three fronts during the regular campaign.”

“He has already spent one year in the NIHL South Division 1 and I’ve no doubt his game will continue to develop as he gets more experience behind him when we begin again in September”.

Joshua Condren is the club’s thirteenth signing ahead of the 2015/16 campaign and the sixth new face to join the side as Head Coach Kevin Parrish rings the changes for a new look roster that is so far dominated by promising young talent.
