Gills midfielder Ousseynou Cisse has joined Leyton Orient on loan for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old joined the club from MK Dons in the summer and scored on his home debut against Burton Albion but has been limited to just five appearances in total, three of those coming in the EFL Trophy.
However the opportunity has presented the French midfielder a chance to play some regular games in Sky Bet League 2, and a deal has been agreed until April 25th.
Manager Steve Evans said: “We wish Ouss the very best of luck at Leyton Orient. He’s a great lad who is very well liked by everyone at the club, but with first team chances limited we felt it was best that he went out to get some regular game time. I’m sure he will do very well.
“He was exceptional at MK Dons last season when they got promoted from League 2; he’s a great kid whom Orient fans will take to in a big way with his performances.”
