Dartford travel to Hardenhuish Park on Saturday where they will face Chippenham Town in the National League South.
Last time out Dartford claimed a 1-0 home win against Dulwich Hamlet with a goal from Darren McQueen. The result kept the Darts 7th place in the table whilst Chippenham are currently in the relegation zone following a 1-1 draw with Havant and Waterlooville.
Dartford have lost only one of their last seven league games, winning all six of the others. Their opponents Chippenham however, haven’t tasted victory since before Christmas and are now seven games without a win.
Earlier in the season the two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Princes Park in what was Steve King’s first league game as Dartford boss. Kieran Parselle put the visitors ahead and was later sent off after picking up a second yellow card. Dartford took advantage and equalised late on through Josh Hill.
This fixture last season saw Dartford bring home three points. Jamie Philpot made it one nil to the Darts before Nathaniel Jarvis levelled. The winner was a goal to remember as it came from goalkeeper Deren Ibrahim who scored a free kick from midway in his own half.
Steve King will be forced into one change at least having seen midfielder Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong recalled from his loan spell. Whether he tries to sign a replacement or go with the players he has remains to be seen.
Despite the difference in form and gap in the table this will no doubt be a tough game for Dartford on a ground notorious for its slope.
