Following Saturday’s hard earned point at Notts County, Bromley are on the road again on Tuesday night when they travel back up north to face Chesterfield in a League Two game between the two sides promoted from the National League last season.

The Ravens grabbed a 1-1 draw at Meadow Lane at the weekend thanks to late equaliser from Cameron Congreve, which saw Andy Woodman’s team consolidate their place in eleventh with 35 points from 26 league matches.
The manager made a change to the shape of the team going back to a 5-4-1 formation and looking to be more solid at the back with the return to Byron Webster to the back line. Recent signings Brooklyn Ilunga and Nicke Kabamba coming off the bench in the second half.
Chesterfield go into the match sitting one point and one place above Bromley, having drawn 1-1 with Port Vale on Saturday, Armando Dobra equalising for The Spireites on the hour mark. A third consecutive draw for Andy Cook’s side.
The teams have been regular opponents in the National League over recent years and when they met in League Two at Hayes Lane back in October the game ended 2-2, Olufela Olomola and Michael Cheek on the scoresheet for Bromley, either side of a Will Grigg double for Chesterfield.
This game looks set to be equally as close, with both sides eyeing up a possible tilt at the top seven should they get a good run together in the second half of the campaign after respectable starts to life in League Two.
