Chatham jumped above their opponents in the table with a 3-1 win against Enfield Town with an impressive performance.
It was also an excellent advert for the Pitching In Premier Division as both sides did go for it with Chatham the better in the first half and Enfield better in the second but Chatham took their chances and came away with all three points.
The game started with both sides going forward without causing any problems then came a funny five minutes.
In the 21st minute a Jack Evans special was unleashed as his free kick from 25 yards beat Rhys Foster.
Two minutes later Jamie Yila on the left cut inside went into the area but saw his shot deflected for a corner.
Enfield showed that they are a good side as in the 24th minute they equalised when a cross into the area saw Sam Youngs flicked header beat Ben Bridle-Card.
In the 26th minute Chatham restored their lead when Yila on the left wing went at the defender in the area and was fouled Penalty, he stepped up and hit the resulting spot kick straight down the middle.
In the 31st minute Chatham could have increased their lead when Joey Taylor & Ashley Nzala combined down the left, the ball came to Chris Dickson but he smashed his shot over the bar from 15 yards.
The last chance of the half came in the 40th minute when Dylan Adjei Hersey on the right saw his low cross into the area forcing Bridle-Card to punch clear.
The second half started with Enfield having more possession but not causing many problems.
In the 51st minute Lewis Taaffe saw his 25 yard free kick saved. In the 60th minute Kris Campbell beat a couple of defenders before passing to Chris Dickson but his 20 yard shot was saved.
In the 75th minute against the run of play Chatham scored their third when Ben Allen floated the ball forward for Nzala to run onto, he went into the area and his low cross to the back post found Dickson who poked in from three yards.
Chatham were now in charge and in the 83rd minute Yila got to the by-line and his low cross to the near post saw Allen shoot but it was deflected onto the post and out for a corner.
Three minutes later Nzala and Evans combined, his pass to Dickson 15 yards out but Foster saved it.
In the third minute of added on time Nzala latched onto a long ball went into the area and from five yards his shot was deflected onto the post and out for a corner.
The full time whistle went and the Chatham players and supporters were celebrating another win in this extraordinary season so far.
