Nottingham Forest stormed to the top of the Championship table on Friday night when they defeated Nathan Jones’ woeful Stoke side.
Leeds will be looking to go back to the top with a win at The Valley on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites are a strong, attack minded side and it promises to be a torrid afternoon for the Addicks back line.
Lee Bowyer will again be without Lyle Taylor, and he must decide whether to persist with Tomer Hemed up front.
With three tough games in the next week, Bowyer will need to rotate his squad a little.
Adam Matthews is approaching full fitness and is likely to be involved in the Swansea and Fulham games.
Jason Pearce is set to return to the heart of defence, and Ben Purrington will continue on the left despite carrying a calf injury.
Bowyer may opt for Darren Pratley’s experience at the base of the diamond. Pratley also gives him the option to switch to three centre-backs.
Charlton could look like this:
Phillips; Solly, Lockyer, Pearce, Purrington; Pratley. Cullen, Gallagher, Williams; Hemed, Leko.
Subs: Amos, Oshilaja, Sarr, Field, Oztumer, Aneke, Bonne.
The referee will be John Brooks from Leicestershire.
This is as tough a game as the Addicks will face all season. Any sort of a result will be a bonus.
