Walsall’s 1-0 win over Chesterfield on Tuesday propelled the Saddlers up to eighth in the table.
Charlton secured their first away win of the campaign at the Banks’ Stadium back in August, a Nicky Ajose double sealing the points for the Addicks.
Karl Robinson has fresh injury worries ahead of the game, Josh Magennis will undergo a scan but looks to be a major doubt.
Jake Forster-Caskey started running on Thursday and could be an option from the bench. Chris Solly is still someway off, but Jason Pearce will feature in an Under-23 game on Sunday.
The central defender could be ready to return in a week or two.
Robinson is likely to freshen the team up a little, and will have to decide on a formation for the game. Charlton could look something like this:
Rudd; Byrne, Teixeira, Konsa, Page; Crofts, Ulvestad, Chicksen, Holmes; Novak, Watt.
Subs: Phillips, Bauer, Dasilva, Jackson, Forster-Caskey, Aribo, Ahearne-Grant.
The referee will be Nicholas Kinseley from Essex.
Buoyed by Tuesday’s late winner, the Addicks will be hoping to keep the momentum going. A win would put them within touching distance of safety.
