Charlton return to The Valley on Saturday for the clash with high flying Fleetwood.
Uwe Rossler’s team are in fourth place in the table, and are currently on a twelve match unbeaten run.
Karl Robinson was frustrated in his attempts to bring another two players to the club before the transfer window closed on Tuesday.
The Addicks failed to complete the signing of Liverpool midfielder, Jordan Williams, and Robinson complained about the behaviour of an unnamed club, thought to be MK Dons, as the attempt to sign another player was foiled.
Robinson will have Jorge Teixeira available again after suspension. But the Portuguese may have to be content with a place on the bench after the team’s heroics at Bolton last week.
The manager will be without the suspended Lewis Page, and has said that Adam Chicksen will drop back to take his place.
Ricky Holmes will come in for Chicksen on the left of midfield. Arsenal loanee, Steffy Mavididi, is likely to be on the bench, as Robinson will keep faith with the players who won at Bolton.
Charlton could look something like this:
Rudd; Solly, Bauer, Konsa, Chicksen; Crofts, Forster-Caskey; Byrne, Aribo, Holmes; Watt.
Subs: Mitov, Dasilva, Teixeira, Ulvestad, Jackson, Mavididi, Novak.
Despite Fleetwood’s recent impressive form, Robinson will expect to win this game.
There will be a poignant moment during the game. The Valley faithful will stage a minute’s applause after 29 minutes in remembrance of Liam Meadows, who passed away recently.
Liam was just 29-years-old, a proud member of the Covered End Choir, and as nice a lad as you could ever wish to meet.
His mum, Julie, would like the crowd to follow the minute’s applause with a rendition of Valley Floyd Road.
