Former Millwall boss, Neil Harris, will bring his Cardiff City side to The Valley for his first game in charge of the Bluebirds.
Cardiff were expected to be one of the front runners for promotion this season, but have yet to get into their stride.
Harris plays the same brand of direct football as his predecessor, Neil Warnock, so the change should be seamless.
Lee Bowyer is beset with injury and suspension problems, and will be without no fewer than ten of his squad, with another one or two being doubtful.
Naby Sarr has had a few poor games, and Bowyer may opt to pull him out of the firing line. The manager was forced to recall Albie Morgan but will still not be able to name a full bench.
Charlton could look like this:
Phillips; Solly, Lockyer, Pearce, Purrington; Cullen, Morgan, Gallagher, Leko; Taylor, Bonne.
Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Matthews, Oshilaja, Sarr, Oztumer, Davison.
The referee will be Darren Bond of Lancashire.
Following the run of results, Bowyer will want to take at least seven points from the next three games.
