On Tuesday evening Charlton Athletic host Barnsley in a Sky Bet Division One match.

In-form Charlton will be looking to build on their last gasp victory at Leyton Orient on Saturday. Going into stoppage time, the Addicks were one-nil down to a goal scored five minutes after the break. However, Macauley Gillesphy levelled in the second minute of injury time and Kayne Ramsay grabbed the winner five minutes later.
There was also drama at Barnsley in their game with Lincoln City on Saturday. They were cruising at three-nil and four-one before they conceded two late goals and had to hold on through the last minutes of time added on. Davis Kellor-Dunn, Adam Phillips, Georgie Gent and Max Watters were on target for the Tykes.
Nathan Jones’ Charlton team are second in the form guide having won seven of their last nine, along with one draw and one defeat. The run has propelled them to sixth place, and they now occupy the last play-off place. Meanwhile, Barnsley have ended a poor patch of six matches in which they claimed just one point, and have won their last three. They are in tenth place in the table, four points behind the Addicks.
When the two teams met for their first encounter of the season, back in October, the spoils were shared in another game with late drama. Kellor-Dunn gave the hosts a half time lead however, Luke Berry levelled with thirteen minutes remaining, and put them ahead in the third minute of additional time. Barnsley weren’t to be denied, though, and a Watters goal earned them a point three minutes later.
Both teams will want to extend their respective winning streaks, and to strengthen their promotion dreams.
