Chris Powell came back to haunt his old club with a smash and grab raid at The Valley on Tuesday evening.

The Addicks lost a game in which they enjoyed 65% of the possession.
It is what a team does with that possession of course, and Charlton again failed to create enough.
Guy Luzon made two changes to his starting line-up, Alou Diarra was rested, with Naby Sarr taking his place. Simon Makienok replaced Igor Vetokele up front, with both Diarra and Vetokele dropping to the bench.‎
The inclusion of Sarr necessitated Patrick Bauer switching to the right side of central defence.
Huddersfield went ahead after ten minutes, when Sean Scannell pulled a ball back from the right, for Harry Bunn to fire past Nick Pope. Pope may feel he could have done better.
The Terriers doubled their lead just past the half-hour mark, courtesy of an Emyr Huws free-kick.
Five minutes before the interval,   ‎the Addicks made good use of a free-kick of their own, Naby Sarr heading home  Johann Gudmundsson’s delivery to halve the arrears.  This was the first time Charlton had scored a goal in the first half of a league game this season.
But it was to no avail. Despite spending the majority of the second period in their opponents half, Luzon’s side could not even things up.
Ba had a chance within seconds of the restart, Makienok went close from a Pope clearance, ‎and Bergdich, Makienok again, and Gudmundsson all had efforts, but could not find the net.
New boy, Conor McAleny, came on for a cameo and showed glimpses of what he is capable off.
A draw and a defeat from a pair of games where he would have expected to take six points, is hugely disappointing for Luzon. He will have to pick his team up as they go in search of their first away win of the season on Saturday.
