Charlton Athletic 1-1 Fleetwood Town
Charlton Athletic 1-1 Fleetwood Town
A scrappy game fizzed into life in the ten minutes of stoppage time. The extraordinary amount of added time was largely down to the fourth official having to replace one of the assistant referees.

The fourth official took an incredible amount of time to get ready.
‎Amari’i Bell drove a ball through a crowded penalty area to snatch a point for Fleetwood four minutes into the additional period.
Nathan Byrne became the third Charlton player in successive games to ‎be shown a red card. He went into a 50/50 challenge with David Ball, got his timing slightly wrong, and was dismissed by erratic referee, Tim Robinson.
The Cod Army went close to snatching it late on when a Ball curler struck the far post.
The Addicks had plenty of possession but failed to fashion a real chance early on.
After 29 minutes the crowd broke into a minute’s applause for Liam Meadows, who tragically died on 11 January, aged just 29.
The applause was followed by a rousing rendition of Valley Floyd Road, which seemed to lift the players.
Jake Forster-Caskey found Tony Watt with a super through ball after 36 minutes. The Scot’s rasping shot was turned round the post by Alex Cairns.
From the corner, the ball came back to Forster-Caskey who drove along the byline before rifling it across the face of the goal.
Ricky Holmes had the simple task of stabbing the ball  ‎home from close range.
‎Fleetwood came into the game more after the break, but Charlton managed the game well…..until the extended period of stoppage time.
Karl Robinson will be frustrated to have dropped two points, especially as the leveller came so late on.
