Charlton Athletic and Leeds fought out a 0-0 draw at The Valley on Saturday afternoon.
Both sides had their chances but lacked the quality in front of goal to take the three points.
As expected, Alou Diarra move into defence and partnered Harry Lennon, who had an impressive first start at The Valley.
Jordan Cousins and Johnnie Jackson were the midfield anchors, with Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Reza Ghoochannejhad playing ahead of them. Ricardo Vaz Te was the front runner.
The best of the chances were fashioned after the break, with Vaz Te coming closest for the Addicks. The striker’s effort brought a fine save from Marco Silvestre.
For Leeds, Tom Adeyemi had two efforts, hitting the outside of the post from six yards, then being foiled from close range by Henderson. Adeyemi may feel he should have done better with his first chance.
Both sides will regard it as two points dropped, rather than a point won.
Ade Lookman played the full 90 minutes, and again produced an impressive performance.
