Canterbury Rugby club is to play host to an international delegation from the Georgia RFU on Friday afternoon.
The Georgian party, made up of six top officials, is on a three day visit to the UK to see how club/school partnerships work and how they can be developed in their own country.
They will visit Canterbury’s school partners, Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys, before holding discussions at the club headquarters.
Among those meeting the Georgian delegation wil be Kent RFU Regional Development Officer Andy Pratt, who is also Canterbury’s Head Coach
The party will be staying in Kent to watch Blackheath’s National Division One match on Saturday.
The Georgian delegation is made up of:
Lasha Khurtsidze – High Performance Manager and International Relations
Milton Haig- Head National Coach
Irakli Khundadze – National Academy Administrator
Luka Kilasonia – Referee manager
Lado Kilasonia – U20 coach and academy coach
Sandro Ujmajuridze – Media manager
They are scheduled to visit Simon Langton School at 2pm and move to the club’s Merton Lane headquarters at 3pm for an hour of talks.
