Canterbury Rugby Club have been boosted by the news that their main sponsor has agreed a new five year deal with the club.
The Marine Travel Company have announced they are to extend their backing for the club in a substantial six figure deal which has been described as ” a huge boost for community rugby in Canterbury.”
Canterbury Rugby Club chairman Giles Hilton said: “We are hugely grateful to The Marine Travel Company and Dave Thompson. With costs always rising, sponsorship plays a vital part in bringing rugby to a growing number of people.”
“Our partnership with the company has been very successful and this extended deal, which is a huge boost, will allow us to plan for the future with even more certainty.”
The Marine Travel Company Managing Director, Dave Thompson said of the new five year deal:
