Ashford’s Leon Camier will be taking part in the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex in two weeks’ time.
His World Superbike team FIXI Crescent Suzuki will be in attendance with bikes and riders from the teams past.
He will be joined by his teammate Jules Cluzel as they put the GSX-R1000 as they take a break from the World Superbike Series to demonstrate the bike and all it can do to thousands of fans in attendance at the event.
Cluzel will be taking to the 1.16 miles world renowned Goodwood Hill on Friday 12th and Saturday the 13th of July with Camier appearing on the last day of the festival.
As well as the current FIXI Suzuki riders they will be joined by two of the most important riders in the team’s history. As 2004 British Superbike Champion and motorcycle racing legend John Reynolds as he is reunited with his Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000.
The trio will be joined by another British Superbike legend Chris Walker on his 2000 GSX-R750, he secured his best ever finish in the World Superbike series in 2000 with a second place at Brands Hatch, on the bike that he will be riding at Goodwood.
They will be joined by a while host of other legends of the two-wheeled sport including John Surtees, Kenny Roberts, Freddie Spencer, Kevin Schwartz and Giacomo Agostini. There will also be legend of four wheel racing, with famous drivers from F1 right the way through. There will be displays of Supercars and exotic vehicles, and a fly past by the Red Arrows.
