Shane Byrne will be hoping to bag himself another podium finish as the British Superbikes heads to Snetterton this weekend.
Byrne celebrated his first win of the season last time out at Oulton Park and will be hoping for a repeat in Norfolk.
The Kent rider came close to a victory at the Norfolk circuit last year when the championship raced on the redeveloped ‘300’ configuration for the first time and the double champion is determined to add to his winning tally.
Shakey said: “It felt great to leave Oulton Park with a win in the bag for the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki team and also nice to have a couple of weeks to reflect on it and what we can do next.
“I am really looking forward to Snetterton and trying to replicate what we achieved at Oulton Park. At some circuits a few tenths can be made up and isn’t a drama but at Snetterton there are no half measures and that for me is how I like to ride.”
