Bromley continue their busy fixture schedule on Easter Monday, when they entertain Woking in the National League at Hayes Lane.
Bromley go into the game having won 2-0 at Dorking Wanderers on Good Friday with Goals from Michael Cheek and Callum Reynolds. This was Cheek’s 20th goal of the season and his 101st of his Bromley career since joining the club in 2019.
The win kept The Ravens in third place on 73 points from 41 games, four points ahead of Gateshead and two behind Barnet, a record points tally for Bromley at this level with five league games to play as they look to secure a second or third place finish, which means a bye to the semi final and home advantage in the promotion pay offs.
Woking travel across from Surrey sitting in seventeenth, four points off the bottom four on 48 from 42 matches, but with only four games left to play, they will need at least another win to guarantee safety from relegation in a pack of teams from fifteenth downwards all on similar points tallies.
On Good Friday The Cards lost 1-0 at home to Eastleigh who are also battling against the drop, Michael Doyle’s side having been on a decent run prior to that.
When the sides met at Kingfied in October Bromley won 1-0 courtesy of a second half goal from Deji Elerewe and this game looks set to be equally as tight with both sides in need of a win.
Last season the teams met three times, The Cards having done the double over Bromley in the league, before The Ravens won the play off eliminator game 2-1.
Andy Woodman made a number of changes to his team for the game at Dorking and he may be forced to do the same again with Ben Krauhaus picking up an injury to join the list of absentees.
