After an important 2-1 win at Southport on Saturday Bromley are back in National League action at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night when they face Woking, another team at the wrong end of the table who have picked up recently.
The Cards travel over from Surrey having drew 3-3 with Eastleigh on Saturday, a feat made even more impressive by the fact they were trailing 3-1 at half time. Manager Gary Hill praised his side’s spirit after the match as they try and claw their way away from the bottom four.
With six players out at the weekend Bromley manager Neil Smith gave some youngsters their chance at Hague Avenue and all of them stepped up to the task with Academy product Jordan Higgs scoring on his first start of the season from midfield, Dan Johnson doing well at the back and striker Daniel Ajakaiye coming off the bench.
Adam Cunnington also found the net for the first time this campaign as the available playing staff all put in a solid shift for the club and the 52 Ravens fans who made the trip up to the North West.
With only two points and one place separating the teams this should be a closely contested encounter as they both look to move away from the drop zone before the FA Cup campaigns begin.
