Bromley finally return to National League action on Tuesday night when they entertain Weymouth at Hayes Lane.
Neil Smith’s side haven’t played a league game for two weeks when they drew 0-0 at Hartlepool Utd after their games at Macclesfield & Altrincham were postponed, but The Ravens did successfully progress in the FA Cup with a 1-0 win at Sutton Utd on Saturday thanks to a Michael Cheek first half penalty.
Weymouth are in their first season back at this level following promotion from National League South, so far The Terras have taken four points from their opening five games, winning one and drawing one, they bowed out of the FA Cup with a 3-2 home defeat to Oxford City at the weekend.
Bromley have picked up four points from their first three league games, with one win and one draw either side of a home defeat against Torquay Utd.
The Ravens brought in loan signing Harry Kyprianou from Southend Utd last week and he made his debut on Saturday, covering for the injured defenders Jack Holland & Joe Kizzi. Smith will also be without Byron Webster on Tuesday after he was sent off in the FA Cup tie right on the full time whistle.
Smith will be keen for his side to finally get going again in the National League, while Weymouth will be looking to bounce back from the FA Cup disappointment and establish themselves back at Non League’s top level.
The game will be played behind closed doors due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, but supporters can watch a live steam of the game for £9.99, which can be purchased via the Bromley FC website.
