Ravens manager Neil Smith has yet to finalise his squad ahead of the kick off, but he has secured the signing of former Orient winger Blair Turgott who was among the four trialists who played in the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
There is grounds for optimism among the home fans who have seen the attacking displays in the friendlies lining up 4-3-3.
Sadly for Smith he is still hampered by injuries with Louis Dennis, Lee Minshull and Alex Wall unable to play at all over the friendlies.
This is a massive occasion for Bromley though and those available will be up for the challenge.
Gary Brabin’s side travel down from The Wirrall on the back of an impressive pre-season where they have beaten MK Dons and narrowly lost to Bolton and are among the favourites to win promotion back to the Football League.
A big crowd is expected at Hayes Lane for this game which for many Bromley fans still feels like a cup tie rather than a league game.
