It’s a top of the table clash in the National League on Saturday afternoon when second place Bromley take on leaders Halifax Town at Hayes Lane.
The Ravens go into the game following their 4-3 FA Cup win over Aldershot Town last weekend. While Halifax make the trip down from Yorkshire having lost 2-1 to Harrogate Town in the same competition.
Halifax currently sit top with 32 points from 17 games played under manager Pete Wild, the same record as Bromley, but Town have a better goal difference by four.
Halifax are without a win in three having drawn with Chorley and lost to Boreham Wood prior to their cup exit.
Bromley’s win over Aldershot was their second victory in five and manager Neil Smith has seen his squad boosted by the return of midfielder Jordan Higgs.
Adam Mekki finding his feet again and the continued goal scoring of Michael Cheek are also bonuses for the Ravens. Neil Smith has, however, emphasised that his team will have to be tighter at the back for this top of the table game.
Among the Halifax squad is former Ravens striker Toni Sho-Silva who scored twelve goals in his one season at Hayes Lane and has netted four times so far this campaign for his new side.
Last seasons game at Hayes Lane ended 2-2 with The Shaymen equalising late on and this promises to be a hard fought game between two teams looking to stay at the top of the division and take points of fellow challengers.
