After Saturday’s Kent Derby stalemate at The Crabble, Bromley and Dover Athletic have to meet again on Tuesday night at Hayes Lane for a FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round replay.
The two National League sides drew 0-0 in the first tie in a game of few chances with defences on top. When the teams had previously met in August The Ravens edged things 2-1, with little to separate the sides on that day.
Bromley manager Neil Smith gave a debut to experienced defender Roger Johnson who was signed on a short term deal last week and he made an immediate impact with a solid display at the back partnering Jack Holland.
After the game Smith praised his team for their efforts in keeping Dover at bay and thought The Ravens could have just nicked a winner towards the end.
With the draw having taken place on Monday both sides will go into the game knowing Rochdale away waits for them in the First Round proper, which could give the game and even bigger edge.
With 150 Bromley fans having made the trip on Saturday a big crowd it expected at The Lane for this one to see what looks set to be a tight, close fought match that could go all the way to extra time and penalties to decide the winner.
