Bromley are back in National League action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain league leaders Dagenham & Redbridge at Hayes Lane.
The Daggers were regular opponents for Bromley back in the clubs Isthmian League days as were the three teams who made up Redbridge Forest, but this is the first time the sides have met in a competitive game for nearly two decades.
Following last season’s relegation from the Football league John Still’s side have hit the ground running since their return to Non League football picking up 24points from eleven games and winning their last three matches.
Nineteenth placed Bromley narrowly lost out 1-0 to Forest Green Rovers last weekend hitting the woodwork twice and Neil Smith will be keen to put some space between them and the bottom four with the side looking much more resilient since a switch back to 4-4-2.
The Ravens will still be without at least five players, including Louis Dennis, George Porter and Lee Minshull, as the bad luck with injuries that haunted them last season continues this campaign.
A decent crowd will be expected at The Lane for this one with the home fans eyeing an upset. The last time the two met in a league game back in 1999 they drew 0-0 in front of 553.
