Bromley return to National League action on Tuesday night when they entertain Boreham Wood at Hayes Lane.
The Ravens go into the game on the back of an impressive 3-1 away win at Barnet on Saturday thanks to goals from Joe Kizzi, James Alabi & Michael Cheek.
The victory took Neil Smith’s side up to tenth in the table with ten points from six league games played, poised for a tilt at the play offs spots.
Boreham Wood make the journey down from Hertfordshire sitting in thirteenth with eight points from seven league matches, on Saturday they drew 1-1 away to Torquay United, Sorba Thomas scoring Wood’s equaliser for Luke Garrard’s team.
Smith was able to bring back key players from injury and suspension to bolster the Bromley squad with Byron Webster returning to the defence and Billy Bingham to the midfield.
He is also hoping to have Luke Coulson, Taylor Maloney & Liam Trotter back from injury soon, plus Harry Forster’s ban has ended after his red card against Yeovil in the FA Cup.
When the teams met last season Bromley won 1-0 at Hayes Lane thanks to a late goal from Cheek, while the fixture at Meadow Park went unplayed to due to the Covid 19 lockdown.
Games between the sides have traditionally been close, hard fought encounters, with both clubs now in their sixth National League season having been promoted together back in 2015 and this one looks set to be the same.
The match will be played behind closed doors due to the current government restrictions, but fans can stream the game live for £9.99 with details on how to do this available the Bromley FC website.
These high quality broadcasts have been praised by both home and away fans who have used the service so far.
