Bromley entertain Boreham Wood at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon Looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the National League season.
The Ravens go into the game on the back of an impressive 3-2 win at Hartlepool Utd sitting third in the table with three wins and two draws from their opening fixtures.
Boreham Wood travel down from Hertfordshire with five points from their five matches played. Last Saturday they lost 1-0 at home to Sutton Utd leaving them in sixteenth place with a record of one win, two draws and two defeats.
Among the Wood line up is former Bromley keeper David Gregory who will be returning to the club he had two good seasons with before signing for Luke Garrard’s side this month.
Neil Smith added midfielder Josh Rees to squad last week giving him even more options in midfield. Rees rejoined after a season with Gillingham, coming back to the club he scored 20 goals for in 2017/18.
When the clubs met at Hayes Lane in March last season Boreham Wood won 2-0 as they avoided relegation late on in the season.
The two sides have been familiar foes over the last couple of decades including 2014/15 when Bromley were promoted as Champions from National League South and Wood won the play offs. This should be another close fought encounter between two good footballing sides.
