Bromley are back in National League action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain familiar foes in the shape of an in-form Boreham Wood at Hayes Lane.
After ten days off The Ravens put strong side out at Tonbridge Angels on Tuesday night in the Kent Senior Cup winning 1-0 thanks to a goal from Tobi Sho-Silva, but the big striker had to go off injured in the second half, which will be a concern.
Several fringe players got a useful ninety minute run out though, as well as some returning from injury and Neil Smith was able to try players in different positions as he looks to balance his side and increase his options.
Wood travel down from Hertfordshire having drawn with Notts County in the FA Cup last weekend and are on a good run of results sitting ninth in the table with 30points from their 18 games and will provide a stiff test for Bromley who are looking to put some more daylight between themselves and the bottom four.
The two sides were promoted together from Conference South back in 2015 and last season they shared the spoils with the away side winning their respective games.
As ever there will be very little to choose between the teams as they match up once again and with an international break in the top two divisions a decent crowd is expected for this one.
