Bromley v Yeovil Town preview

Following Tuesday night’s narrow loss away at Wrexham, Bromley are back in National League action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Yeovil Town.

The 2-1 loss at The Racecourse left The Ravens in tenth place with 34 points from 24 league games. Corey Whitely put Andy Woodman’s team in front, before a controversial penalty late in the first half and a deflected effort in the second period won the game for the home team.

Woodman was left exasperated by the officials on Tuesday night, but pleased with his teams performance.

Yeovil Town are unbeaten in the league going back to 1st November, with new manager Mark Cooper slowly leading The Glovers away from the relegation zone.

Last Saturday they beat Torquay Utd 2-0 at home with goals from Matty Worthington & Jordan Maguire-Drew. They currently sit in eighteenth place with 27 points from 24 league matches.

Bromley announced that striker Michael Cheek has signed a two year extension to his contract prior to the Wrexham game, a great piece of business for the club, especially  given top scorer Adam Marriott’s recent injury problems.

Cheek, Louis Dennis and Corey Whitely all look to combine well up top on Tuesday.

Over the last ten National League matches The Ravens have won two & drawn four and will be looking to convert more of those single points into three as they move into the second half of the season.

This game is re-arranged following the previous abandonment in December when Bromley fan Keith Hoare tragically lost his life at Hayes Lane six minutes into the match.

Bromley haven’t beaten Yeovil at Hayes Lane since September 1987 and this game looks to be a close match up, which could go either way as the home team look to keep in touch with the top seven and the in form visitors away from the relegation zone.

Match Tickets are available from the official club website in advance at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £7 for Under 16s, Under 11s free with a paying adult.

Prices increase by £2 on the match day and home fans can now pay on the gate. There is also a printed programme available at the match for £3.00.

Kick off is at 3pm
