Two in form teams meet at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon when seventh placed Bromley entertain sixth placed Wrexham in the National League.

The Ravens go into the game unbeaten in four, having won 1-0 away to Altrincham on Tuesday night thanks to an early James Alabi goal.

A win that moved Neil Smith’s side into the play off spots, picking up 15 points from 9 league matches so far.   

The Red Dragons are also unbeaten in four and defeated Sutton Utd 4-0 at The Racecourse Ground last time out.

They sit one place higher than Bromley with 16 points from 10 National League games played and were recently buoyed by news of a high profile takeover of the club by two high profile actors.  

When the sides met at Hayes Lane on February Wrexham ran out 2-0 winners just before the season came to an early halt, completing the double over Bromley having won the home game 1-0 in November 2019.

Smith praised his team after the win at Altrincham and the fact that they dug in and battled, which has been characteristic of their season so far.

He is hopeful to have more players back from injury in the coming weeks, having lost the services of left back Harry Kyprianou who has returned to Southend Utd after his loan spell.   

The game promises to be a close fought encounter between two teams mounting creditable pay off challenges as the campaign progresses.
