Bromley meet Welling United in their second pre-season game on Tuesday night at Hayes Lane in what will seem like a 2014/15 promotion team reunion for the home fans.
Former Ravens manager Mark Goldberg and assistant Hugo Langdon now in charge of The Wings with a squad that boasts no fewer than seven Bromley old boys including former captain Rob Swaine and fan favourite Bradley Goldberg.
On Saturday Neil Smith’s side drew 0-0 with Fulham U23s, the manager using two completely different sides in either half as he looked at a number of trialists along with his new signings. Smith is looking forward to welcoming his old colleagues and players to The Lane and is sure the fans will give them a warm welcome in appreciation of what that team achieved.
National League South Welling, who reached the play offs last season before losing to Woking, make the short trip over having drawn 1-1 at Margate on Saturday with their goal coming from another ex Bromley player in Connor Dymond.
This should be a good test for both sides as they prepare for their respective National League campaigns, which kick off on 3rd August.
Entrance is £10 and £5 for concessions, kick off 7:45pm.
