Bromley look to get back to winning ways when they return to National League action on Saturday afternoon taking on Wealdstone at Hayes Lane.
Having been on an unbeaten run of eleven league games The Ravens have lost their last two matches going down 2-1 at home to Yeovil Town last midweek and 2-0 at Wrexham on Saturday.
The defeat in North Wales not helped by a red card for Liam Trotter after only nine minutes and injury to Corey Whitely. Andy Woodman’s side are now in sixth in the table with 31 points from 17 league matches, still within five points off leaders Chesterfield.
Wealdstone make the trip over from North West London sitting in sixteenth place with 21 points from 17 games.
Last Saturday The Stones lost 4-1 at home to Stockport County, with Ira Jackson Jr scoring a late consolation goal for Stuart Maynard’s side, the loss was Wealdstone’s first defeat in six matches. Josh Umerah is top scorer for The Stones with seven goals, while Michael Cheek has thirteen for Bromley.
Last season the sides drew 2-2 at Hayes Lane in Andy Woodman’s first game in charge with Byron Webster & Michael Cheek bringing The Ravens back from 2-0 down after early strikes from Ryan Gondoh & Connor Smith for the visitors.
In the return match Bromley came out 1-0 winners with a late goal from Joe Kizzi five weeks later on their way to the play offs.
With both teams looking to bounce back from defeats this looks set to be equally as tight and entertaining as the previous two encounters, but this time on front of a crowd and boosted by The Stones large away support.
