Bromley look to continue their great run of form on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Torquay United in the National League in front of the BT Sport cameras at Hayes Lane.
Andy Woodman’s side have won four games on the bounce and moved up to sixth in the table with 16 points from 8 games played, with two games in hand on most of the teams above them.
On Tuesday night they defeated Weymouth 3-0 at home thanks to goals from Michael Cheek, Chris Bush and James Alabi. Cheek has now scored eight goals so far this season, with Alabi notching three despite often bring used as a sub.
The other factor in the recent positive results has been the defence and keeper Mark Cousins, who have only conceded once in the last four matches.
Torquay make the trip up from Devon sitting in thirteenth with 11 points from 10 league matches, Gary Johnson’s team lost 2-0 at Boreham Wood on Tuesday night and their form has been inconsistent so far this campaign, winning three, drawing two and losing five games.
Last season The Gulls made it to the promotion play off final before losing to Hartlepool Utd. When the two sides met at Hayes Lane last season Torquay won 2-1 with a late winner from Daniel Wright, while the game at Plainmoor ended 0-0.
This game looks set to be equally as tight as The Ravens look to extend their winning streak and stay in the top seven, while Torquay look to get a good run going and challenge again for promotion this campaign.
The game has been chosen for live coverage on BT Sport, but the kick off remains at 3pm.
