After both sides were involved in FA Trophy replays on Tuesday night, Bromley and Maidstone United are back in National League action on Saturday afternoon when they meet in a Kent Derby at Hayes Lane.
The Ravens go into the game on the back of a 7-1 replay home win over Workington, while The Stones were defeated away at Gateshead 3-0 in their replayed match.
When the two sides met at The Gallagher Stadium in October Bromley ran out 2-0 winners, their fourth straight win over The Stones since in the last two seasons.
As fate often has it, the two sides will meet again on Tuesday 13th this time at The Gallagher in the Kent Reliance Senior Cup Semi Final.
As happy as Neil Smith was with his sides win over Workington, he made it clear they were targeting promotion above cup success this season and will be keen to keep The Ravens in the play off spots where they currently sit in sixth with 50 points from 31 played.
Maidstone occupy 16th place with 38 points from 31 having struggled to find consistency so far in this league campaign, not helped by losing striker Joe Piggott to AFC Wimbledon in the transfer window.
Although they have just added Ross Lafayette and Steve Beckwith on loan from Sutton United.
To add a little extra interest former Bromley players Joe Anderson and Reece Prestedge will be in The Stones squad, both players were part of The Ravens side that won promotion to The National League in 2015.
These matches are always well contested, entertaining affairs and there should be a big crowd at The Lane for this one with the 1,000 or so Bromley regulars boosted by a good travelling support.
