It’s a Kent Derby at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon when Bromley host Maidstone United in The National League, with both sides looking to put daylight between themselves and the bottom four.

The two sides have met twice already this season, with Bromley winning 2-0 in the league at The Gallagher Stadium in September, plus also coming out on top in the Kent Senior Cup winning 2-1 at Hayes Lane the following month.

The Ravens come into the game sitting thirteenth with 29pts from 23games, having been on a fine recent run of form, they lost their first game in seven on Tuesday night 2-1 at Woking, Blair Turgott notching his eleventh goal of the season from the penalty spot.

The Stones having taken 25pts from their 23matches played, had a poor November not winning a single match until their last game of the month on Tuesday which saw them record an impressive 2-1 home win over Eastleigh. The win took the newly promoted side up to eighteenth in the table as the phoenix club find their feet back at this level, where the original club thrived.

Neil Smith’s options were improved by the return of Louis Dennis from injury last weekend, although Rob Swaine Alex Wall, Ben May & Brad Goldberg remain side lined and recent signing Michael Ngoo is still trying to get match fit.

There should be a big crowd at Hayes Lane for this one as two famous names from Kentish non-league football lock horns again looking to start the month with a win.

Venue: Hayes Lane, BR2. Kick off: 3pm. Admission: £15 for adults, £10 concessions and £5 for under 16s.
