Bromley are back in National League action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Kings Lynn Town at Hayes Lane.
The Ravens go into the game on an unbeaten run of 10 league games, having drawn 1-1 away at Stockport County last weekend thanks to a last minute own goal live in front of the BT Sport cameras.
The draw kept Andy Woodman’s team in fourth place with 28 points from 14 matches played, just 4 points off leaders Chesterfield with a game in hand, although Woodman was keen to point our he was not happy with the performance from his team and will be looking for an improvement.
Kings Lynn make the trip down from North Norfolk sitting in twenty second place with 8 points from 14 league games.
Last Saturday they lost 6-2 at home to Wrexham, their fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions and Lynn haven’t won a league game since 2nd October when they beat Maidenhead Utd 3-2, Malachi Linton, Ross Barrows and Brett McGavin on the score sheet for The Linnets.
Young striker Joe Taylor joined League One Peterborough United this week, while Junior Morais signed for Dagenham & Redbridge last week.
Manager Ian Culverhouse will be hoping that top scorer Michael Clunan can add to his three goal tally so far this campaign, Lynn only having scored 13 goals in the league to date.
Michael Cheek has scored ten league goals for Bromley so far this season, but hasn’t netted since 26th October, which is a baron spell by his standards.
When the teams met at Hayes Lane in February last season Bromley won 2-0, with both goals from Courtney Duffus, completing the double over Kings Lynn, having won 4-1 in the reverse fixture early that campaign.
This looks set to be another entertaining game at Hayes Lane, with Bromley aiming to keep in touch with the leaders and Lynn to claw their way out of the relegation zone and find some form.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from the official Bromley FC website.
