Bromley begin their FA Cup campaign for this season when they entertain Hereford in the Fourth Qualifying Round at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon.
The Ravens currently sit fifth in the National League with 24 points from 13 matches played, last weekend Andy Woodman’s side drew 1-1 at home to Gateshead, Louis Dennis having put Bromley in front, before they conceded with ten minutes to go.
Bromley still remain unbeaten at home this season and will be aiming to reach the first round again for the fifth year in a row.
Hereford are thirteenth in National League North with fifteen points from eleven league games, The Bulls won 4-2 away at Boston Utd on Saturday thanks to goals from Aaron Amadi Holloway, Jack Evans & two from Tyrone Barnett, extending their unbeaten run to five games.
Josh Gowling’s side have reached the fourth qualifying round without conceding a goal, beating Bromsgrove Sporting 1-0 at home and Three Bridges 3-0 away.
Hereford were formed out of the ashes of Hereford Utd FC in 2014 and have progressed up through the pyramid since, now playing one division below Bromley, with a large support home and away.
The original club having spent over 30 years in two spells in the Football League and famous for their FA Cup Giant Killing exploits.
This looks set to be a great cup tie between two in form sides both looking for a chance to get int the first round and the chance to face Football League opposition.
Tickets are available from the official club website in advance at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £7 for Under 16s, Under 11s free with a paying adult.
Prices increase by £2 on the match day and home fans can now pay on the gate. There is also a printed programme available at the match for £3.00.
