Looking to keep their recent good run going, Bromley are back in League Two action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Harrogate Town at Hayes Lane.

The Ravens go into the game unbeaten in three and on the back of two 1-0 wins, the latest being courtesy of a Michael Cheek goal over Fleetwood Town at home last weekend also helped by some outstanding goalkeeping from Grant Smith.
The goal was Cheek’s 120th for the club and his 15th this campaign in his and Bromley’s debut League Two season, the 33 year old having no problem in the step up to EFL football.
Andy Woodman’s side have risen up to twelfth in the table with 42 points form 31 games, almost guaranteeing them a second season at this level with over a quarter of the fixtures to go. Another remarkable achievement in Bromley’s recent history making exploits.
Omar Sowunmi returned from suspension last Saturday, but was an unused substitute, while deadline day acquisitions Harry McKirdy, Maldini Kacurri & Marcus Ifill weren’t involved in the squad. Idris Odutayo and Marcus Dinanga remain on the injury list.
Harrogate Town travel down from Yorkshire sitting in twentieth place with 33 points from 32 league matches, 7 points off the bottom two. Simon Weaver’s side picked up a valuable win last weekend with a 1-0 home victory over Swindon Town, thanks to a second half goal from Jasper Morris.
When the sides met on the opening day of the season Bromley won 2-0 at Wetherby Road, with goals from Cheek and Kamarl Grant giving The Ravens the victory in their first ever League Two match.
Prior to that meeting the two sides met in the National League back in March 2020, the game ending 1-1, the fixture being the last Bromley played prior to the Covid lockdown and the last one at Hayes Lane was in August 2018, which also ended 1-1.
Harrogate were promoted from the National League via the play offs in 2020 and have recorded four lower to mid-table finishes since coming into the EFL for the first time in their history and also like Bromley they had to replace their 3G pitch once promotion was achieved. Town’s top scorer is Josh March with six for far this campaign and they have only scored 26 league goals in total.
The game looks set to be another close fought encounter and with the redevelopment work going on at Hayes Lane reducing the capacity 3,100, there are only a limited number of tickets available.
The game kicks of at 3pm.
