Bromley entertain National League new comers Harrogate Town at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon with both sides looking to notch their first win of the new season.
Harrogate were promoted via the play offs from National League North in May, defeating Brackley Town in the final, who Bromley met a week later in the FA Trophy at Wembley.
They have drawn both of their opening two games 2-2 under manager Simon Weaver, scoring a last minute equaliser on Tuesday against Hartlepool Utd, after suffering the same fate at Sutton on the opening day.
Bromley lost their opener at Fylde 2-1, but gained their first point thanks to a late Frankie Sutherland penalty at home to Dover Athletic in a 2-2 draw on Tuesday night.
Ravens’ manager Neil Smith has yet to settle on a formation having experimented with 5-3-2 and 4-4-2 in the opening games and in pre-season. Captain and centre back Jack Holland has been deployed as an emergency striker during the second halves of the Fylde & Dover games with Bromley trailing.
Having lost Josh Rees, Louis Dennis and Luke Wanadio in the summer, Smith has the headache of trying to replace the 49 goals the trio scored between them in the last campaign.
The tough assignment also not helped with Adam Mekki and Kyle Da Silva out injured. The spirit of the side was shown on Tuesday though as they battled back from 2-1, with keeper David Gregory in superb form again.
The game promises to be a tight one with the Yorkshire side finding their feet at the new level and Bromley looking to get things up and running with a much changed squad.
